CAAS-Bayer Group Cooperation Strategy Workshop
CAAS has geared on its collaboration with the private sector in recent years. 7 July 2008, Dr. Joachim Schneider, Global President of the Bioscience Department of Bayer Crop Science led 27 Bayer scientists to the “CAAS-Bayer Group Cooperation Strategy Workshop” .9 CAAS scientists from the institutes of Plant Protection, Rice Research, Crop Science, Cotton Research and Oil Crops participated in the workshop.
Bayer Group has strong competitive edge in crop protection, breeding and biotechnology. At the workshop, scientists exchanged their views on the research of rice, cotton, soybean and rape as well as bio-safety of transgenic crops, agricultural foreign investment polices and IPR issues.
