New partnership between IARRP-CAAS and UQ
The Institute of Agricultural Resources and Regional Planning (IARRP) of CAAS signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with its counterpart, the University of Queensland (UQ) of Australia on November 25th, 2013.

This is the fourth IARRP’s partnership with Australia preceded with other important partnership such as; the Common Wealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO), University of Western Australia and the Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economicsand Sciences (ABARES).
Dr. He Yingbin from IARRP said, “MOU is a part of China-Australia program on crop monitoring and forecasting for food security”. He further explained, “this gives the opportunity for both sides to carry out collaborative work on integrated crop simulation and forecasting, as well as jointly train students on the application for projects, and enhance expert communications”.
