Wu introduced about the Academy’s S&T Innovation Program and its new strategy towards a world-class agricultural academy. He spoke highly of the comprehensive agricultural S&T cooperation between the two parties over the past several years, particularly after two sides signed the MOU on Establishment of the Joint Research Center for Meat Science signed in November 2011. Wu also suggested to explore supports of funds from EU programs and other channels.

Kennedy said, Northern Ireland and China face many similar problems and challenges in agricultural R&D, AFBI would like to keep a close contact with CAAS and push forward the bilateral relationship.
