Vice President WANG Ren Meets with IPNI Director
Vice President WANG Ren met with the visiting Terry Roberts, Director of International Plant Nutrition Institute (IPNI) at CAAS main campus in Beijing on December 6, 2012. The two sides exchanged views on strengthening cooperation on agricultural sciences and technologies.
WANG briefed the visiting guests about the history, institutes, research areas and development strategies of CAAS and gave a review on the productive cooperation between CAAS and IPNI since the 1980s. He suggested further collaboration in the area of the soil and fertilizer research, especially the development of new type fertilizers.
Roberts highly appreciated WANG’s comments. And on behalf of IPNI, he expressed thanks to CAAS for its help in improving the working condition of its Beijing office.
