CNRRI experts visited Kenya
China National Rice Research Institute (CNRRI) delegation headed by Dr. Cheng Shihua (the Director General of CNRRI), visited Kenya from November 24th to 30th, 2013. On November 29th, Dr. Cheng Shihua (Director General of CNRRI) and Mrs. Sicily K. Kariuki, (Principal Secretary of Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries) signed the Minutes of Discussions on cooperation in rice development. The signing ceremony was coordinated by Mr. Joseph Kinyua, Head of Public Service of the President Office.
The cooperation activities between the two sides, by using modern farming techniques and best practices, will help Kenya produce more food.
