President Huqu Zhai Met with DPRK Agricultural Party Secretary
April 22 2009, Jin Kum Chol, Party Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture of the DPRK led a delegation to CAAS. CAAS President Huqu Zhai warmly received the delegation.
This year marks the 60th anniversary of the diplomatic relationship between China and DPRK. Dr. Huqu Zhai reviewed the bilateral cooperation and shared experience on the agricultural technology development with DPRK guests. Jin Kum Chol expressed the strong wish to strengthen agricultural S&T cooperation with China under the China-DPRK S&T Cooperation Framework, with special focus on crop breeding and biotechnology.
