Argentina’s Vice Agricultural Secretary of State visited BIOMA
On June 3, Mr. Oscar Solis, Argentina’s Vice Agricultural Secretary of State and Mr. Omar Odarda, Agricultural Counselor of the Argentine embassy in China visited Biogas Institute of Ministry of Agriculture (BIOMA) in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province.
The two sides introduced to each other the biogas development and the application of biogas technology in China and Argentina respectively in the meeting. To further explore the great potential in the bilateral cooperation on biogas and other bio-energies, a plan to set up a working group under the cooperative framework between ministries of agriculture of both countries was deliberated. And both sides agreed to sign the Memorandum of Understanding in due time.
After the meeting, the Argentina delegation visited the Laboratory of Development and Application of Rural Renewable Energy (MOA) and Biomass Energy Research Center at BIOMA.
