China-UK Workshop on Food Safety
March 31, 2009, China-UK Workshop on Food Safety was hosted by CAAS and the British Embassy in Beijing. 30 representatives from 6 Institutes of CAAS and British institutions including the Food Standards Agency, Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council, Harper Adamas University, Warwick University and CABI participated in the workshop.
Under the theme “Improving the Value and Impact of Food Safety Cooperation under China-UK Partnership and Platform for Win-Win Result”, 15 Chinese and British food safety experts introduced their collaborative projects on food safety and explored new channels for funding and further cooperation.
