Vice Chancellor of Lincoln University visited the Graduate School
On March 18th, Dr. Andrew West, Vice Chancellor of Lincoln University (New Zealand) visited Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (GSCAAS) and discussed issues on student exchange with Dr. Liu Rongle, Vice Dean of the Graduate School.
Liu introduced the development of postgraduate education of the Graduate School as well
as its international program. Liu proposed the two parties should further to exchange and cooperate in the PhD training program.
West said that Lincoln University attached great importance to the exchange with China’s agricultural universities, and expressed his hope to coordinate in the postgraduate education cooperation.
Established in 1878, Lincoln University is one of the universities with the longest history in New Zealand. The university focuses on scientific research and provides new agricultural technologies and improved varieties for New Zealand.
