CAAS and McMaster to Establish Joint Lab
On May 5, 2015, the Institute of Bast Fiber Crops (IBFC) of CAAS and the Microbial Ecology and Population Genetics (MEPG) Laboratory of McMaster University reached an agreement to establish the “IBFC–McMaster Joint Laboratory of Plant Pathogen Molecular Ecology” in Changsha, Hunan Province.
According to the agreement, both sides will conduct research on molecular epidemiology of nematode, Ustilago maydis, Erwinia species and Xanthomonas species. The joint lab will carry out projects of mutual interest, share resources and jointly train students.
