Prof. Wu Kongming pointed out that China and Tajikistan are friendly neighbors with the potential for cooperation in the field of agricultural science and technology. The Chinese government launched the initiative of the “Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road”, which is opportunity for us to enhance cooperation in the fields of cotton, maize, wheat, horticulture, scientist exchange and postgraduate education, especially further strengthening science and technology cooperation in cotton sector.

Prof. Amonullo agreed with Prof. Wu Kongming. He responded that Tajik Agrarian University is the center of Tajikistan’s agriculture, science and technology, education and talent training, and has a good relationship with CAAS. He hoped to promote Tajikistan’s agricultural research level and agricultural development with the support of CAAS.

During the visit, Prof. Amonullo Salimov Faizulloevich visited the Institute of Cotton Research and the National Agricultural Sciences and Technology Demonstration of CAAS.
