Li Jiayang said, CAAS would like to work together with IDB to promote Latin-America’s agricultural science and technology development. He suggested both sides should carry out the program collaboration of mutual interest under the framework of the bilateral S&T cooperation memorandum reached in this June.

Mereno agreed with Li's proposals and he suggested the two parties to keep a close communication to forester the new IDB-CAAS partnership.
