LUKE-AEPI Joint Laboratory for Agricultural Environmental Technology Launched
On Dec 3. 2015，the Agro-Environmental Protection Institute (AEPI) of Ministry of Agriculture and the Natural Resources Institute Finland (LUKE) inaugurated a joint laboratory in Haikou. The launch marks a significant advance in cooperation between China and Finland in the field of agricultural environmental protection, especially in regards to control of livestock farming contamination.
Ren Tianzhi, Director of AEPI, said the LUKE-AEPI cooperation is crucial in areas such as developing cooperative research in the Dali pilot site, strengthening mutual visits, applying joint projects, and carrying out professional training. Markku Järvenpää, the representative of LUKE, also stressed the importance of the joint efforts in the future.
