Wu Kongming meets GCP Director of CGIAR
On February 13th, CAAS Vice President Wu Kongming met with Jean-Marcel Ribaut, Director of Generation Challenge Program (GCP) of CGIAR at CAAS headquarter in Beijing, to further discuss cooperation in common interested areas.
Wu said, CAAS always much values the strategic partnership between CAAS and CGIAR. Through concerted efforts to collaborate in the Integrated Breeding Platform (IBP) project in the past few years, the two sides have once again demonstrated their success in crop variety breeding.
Wu hoped the two sides continue to explore potentials for future cooperation in crop research and make contribution to global food security.
Ribaut introduced the updated development of the IBP project. He proposed both to continue and improve the cooperation on the project.
