HVRI: The nation’s first testing lab for animal infectious disease diagnosis
On June 4th, the Animal Infectious Disease Diagnosis and Technical Service Center (AIDDTSC) of Harbin Veterinary Research Institute (HVRI) was certified by China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) as a national-level testing laboratory, which is the sole one for animal infectious disease diagnosis so far in China.
Established in April of 2010, the AIDDTSC is mainly composed of the Serology Laboratory, the Etiology Laboratory, the Pathology Laboratory, the Parasitology Laboratory, the Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory, the Diagnostic Reagents Development Laboratory and Public Facility and Instrument Center, the Professional Laboratories of Cell Culture and Instruments Management, etc.
