Breakthrough in high-value utilization of featured function lipid resources

Recently, the research achievement on high-value utilization of featured function lipid resources, conducted by Professor Huang Fenghong and his research team from Oil Crops Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (OCRI-CAAS), was conferred the First Grade Prize of Hubei Province Science and Technology Advancement Award (2012).


According to introduction, the project adopted method of ultrasonic wave assisting enzymatic degumming technology, allowing treating time to reduce by more than 50% and lipase use level to drop by more than 40% compared with traditional degumming method. Meanwhile, the project employed food grade extraction agent that is easy to be separated to taking off bitterness from linseed oil successfully. In addition, the project developed preparation technology of perilla oil powder, which has significantly improved oil stability and application range.

The project also developed new recombined nourishment oil that could lowering blood lipid and promoting growth and development, Aixing soft capsule branded Zhongyou with alleviating eye fatigue function and other high value-added function food.
