CAAS 2008 Key Achievements
2008 is a fruitful year for CAAS. Five key research achievements were awarded with National Prize for S&T progress by the State Council. They are:
♦ “Quality Evaluation of Wheat Varieties and Molecular Improvement” by Prof. HE Zhong-hu, Institute of Crop Sciences, CAAS, First Prize; (see Top Story)
♦ “Research and Comprehensive Prevention and Control of Invasive Bemisia Tabaci” by Professor ZHANG You-jun, Institute of Vegetables and Flowers, CAAS, Second Prize.
♦ “Establishment and Application of the Optimal Cultivation Quality Control Technology and Standard System of Double-low(low content of erucic acid and glucosinolate)Rapeseed” by Professor LI Pei-wu, Oil Crops Research Institute, CAAS, Second Prize
♦ “Development and Application of Multi-molecule Target Pesticide” by Professor FENG Ping-zhang, Institute of Plant Protection, CAAS, Second Prize
♦ “Dynamic Process of the Water Erosion at the Loess Plateau and its Regulation Technologies” participated by Institute of Environment and Sustainable Development in Agriculture, CAAS, Second Prize
