The "Eleventh Five-Year" major scientific and technological achievements exhibition was concluded in Beijing on March 14. It was held to comprehensively display major and influential scientific and technological achievements and fully demonstrate the leading and supporting functions of scientific and technological progresses for economic and social development, arousing a strong response from the society.

“Grassroots Agricultural Technology Extension Informatization Platform based on 3G” of Institute of Agricultural Information of CAAS took part in the exhibition as key achievement in section “informatization in rural areas and agriculture”. “Key Technologies and Equipment of Family Digital Plant Factory” of Institute of Environment and Sustainable Development in Agriculture of CAAS was invited to the exhibition and was listed by Ministry of Science and Technology as one of the five key scientific and technological achievements to be marketed in agricultural sector. Technology for Tracing Food and Agro-products, a scientific and technological achievement of Institute of Agro-food Science and Technology of CAAS, was exhibited in the food safety section of agriculture and livelihood. These achievements had been well received by state leaders, experts, news media and the audience.
