Breakthrough in Technology of Ultra Low-Volume Aerial Application at Ultra Low-Altitude
On July 8th, Project “Research and Equipment Innovation of Ultra Low-Volume Aerial Application at Ultra Low-Altitude over Paddy Fields” funded by National “863” Programme passed the appraisal. It was completed by the Nanjing Research Institute of Agricultural Mechanization of the Ministry of Agriculture and other institutes.
With efficient and clean spraying technologies, equipment and work platforms as well as automatic control technologies and integration of several advanced technologies, the project successfully created unmanned equipment for ultra low volume aerial application at ultra low altitude over paddy fields. Examined by the National Plant Protection Machinery Quality Supervision and Inspection Centre, the new equipment, compared with existing conventional spraying machinery, have 10 times higher efficiency with over 35% of pesticide utilization rate and a deduction of 20% pesticide use.
